Ilse Crawford is one of the most influential interior designers working today. Known for her deeply humanist approach, she creates spaces that feel warm, purposeful, and alive — never cold or merely decorative.
Her restoration of The Crown honours the inn's 400-year heritage while bringing it firmly into the present. Every material, every piece of furniture, every fitting has been considered for how it feels to live with, not just look at.
